Thursday November 22nd:The Photocopy Club’s last ever open submission exhibition… The Photocopy Club hosted their first ever London show at Beach back in February, and we’re very excited to have them back.
The last show was a lot of fun (check this vid), and this one’s gonna be even better. They’ve got something very exciting to present this time, and we’re sure it’s going to go off again. They’ve also got some submissions from some really high-profile photographers. Will you get one? Who knows!

TONIGHT!

Tonight sees the opening of POWER REDUX. We’ve had this one pencilled in since January and we’re really excited about it. The second leg of the show - after Øslo and before heading to Berlin - Features artwork by some real Beach favourites, including:

Hugh Frost (He of Landfill Editions fame, and now, unfortunately, residing in Sweden)

Benbo George - a very graphic collage artist who’s awesome work has an unusual outsider aesthetic.

Viktor Hachmang - an amazing illustrator from The Hague who’s influences stem from comics, and there’s a bit of CF in there and stuff…

Jiro Bevis - awesome illustrator and firm Beach favourite

Espen Friberg from Norway - another great outsider-esque collage artist. He’s showing some videos in the show.

Michael Willis of Panther Club fame - he’s organised the show. He’s a Beach favourite and a good buddy of ours!

All these great artists - and more - are showing - so don’t miss the opening this evening (Sept 20th) and the show will run until mid October.

Mark Ward ‘Far Out’ Studio Visit

Last week Luke went to see Mark Ward’s studio in anticpation of his show, ‘Far Out’ which opens at Beach on the 9th August. You don’t want to miss this one, it’s going to be one of the most exciting ones we’ve had.

Dregs

Mark tidied his desk for us. Apparently.

One of the paintings for ‘Far Out’

You might’ve seen this if you’ve seen the flyer. It’s a MASSIVE totem pole for the show…

An older piece from another show. So good.

Mark gave us custard tarts, tea, and told us how he has got a mat that he skates on while waiting stuff to upload.

The opening party for ‘Far Out’ is on August 9th. You can RSVP on Facebook here.

Or E-mail info@beachlondon.co.uk for more.
